Many people comment on our motto, "It's not what makes us different, it's who." wondering what we really mean by it.

The staffing industry really is all about people. Not just the candidates we source and send to our clients, but the internal staff who serve our candidates and clients. After all, many of the candidates who work for us also work for our competitors, so it's often hard to differentiate ourselves by saying we're different in our screening and vetting process.

But where The Lawton Group really is different is in our internal staff. Our recruiters, managers, sales personnel and executives have been with us an average of more than 10 years, an almost unheard of number within the staffing industry, an industry notorious for the "churn" of its internal employees.

We've been told many times from both our candidates and clients how infuriating it is to call a staffing service, ask to speak with "their" staffing manager and then be told that that person no longer is with the company. That doesn't happen at The Lawton Group.

What this means for our clients and our candidates is twofold:

1. We really get to know you. Your goals and challenges, likes and dislikes, whether you're a candidate or one of our client companies.
2. Should you lose contact with us for a year or more, you needn't worry that you'll have to "train us" all over again. The same people who helped you before will be here to help you again.

In addition, our managers and recruiters are well-educated, industry-certified professionals. They understand the challenges of both running a business and how important staffing with the right employees is to its success. They also recognize the complexity of looking for the right position, one that feeds an individual's talents and goals as well as the pocketbook.
